It has been almost a year and a half since my last post. And to my 4 followers: I apologize. It's been a crazy year. And I'll admit, I may have forgotten that this blog existed. Anyways, this means it's time for a quick recap of the past 16 months...
My last post was from the end of February of last year. Things have inevitably changed. The following spring and summer--at least in my life--were relatively uneventful. In September though, I met who is now the love of my life.
When we first met, we were unimpressed with one another, and made little to no effort to get to know each other. The only thing we had in common was a couple mutual friends. ...er, so we thought. After becoming friends on Facebook (our generation's dependence on technology in order to have a successful social life is so pathetic), we started hanging out, and after a couple months, became best friends. Then, we became MORE than friends, and on January 8, 2011, we became official (yup, it was on Facebook and everything). We just celebrated our six month anniversary.
In other news, I moved out of my dad's house! I moved into a little back house in Glendora with my friend Krystal. I've been here for almost six months. After experiencing the insane money-sucking experience that is living on your own at age 20, I've decided to move back in with my dad, but under one condition: I GET MY OWN ROOM. Because, in the past year that I was absent from the blogging world, my sister became a teenage tweaker, as well as kind of a brat, making it impossible to live with her.
Also, I decided I want a kitten. And since I'll be paying rent, I'm going to get one.

I also finally quit Fashion Q! That's right, no more Korean Nazi bosses! Instead, I work for an after school program in the Hacienda Heights/La Puente district. I am a "piano specialist" (sounds fancy, huh?) so I come in three days a week and get to teach these K-8 kiddos whatever I want about piano! It's such a fun job. And the pay isn't half bad either! These are the times that I am grateful my parents pushed me into taking a couple more years of lessons when I was little.
Oh, I also worked at Kohl's for like six months... but I try to block those memories out. *shudder*
So that is my life now. I'll try to keep more on top of this now... although I think that's what I said last time, and we can see how well that worked out... Oh well. I'll try again. Maybe this time it'll work. Sayonara for now!
