New House, New Blog Post

It's moving week!! ...and I've only got eight boxes packed. Basically just some dishes, all my shoes, purses/scarves/belts, movies and magazines. Four of those boxes are solely for my shoes and movies (you see where my priorities lie). I've still got a lot to do. We've got some MAJOR cleaning to do up in this biz. I don't think we cleaned the stove once. That's gonna be nice and nasty. And the fridge is a whole other story. I cleaned it out the other day, and who knows what I pulled out of the veggie drawers... It looked like a mix between soggy spinach and egg yolks. *GAG THE WHOLE TIME* I don't blame you for labeling us as filthy pigs. I mean, we're not Hoarders status, but we definitely aren't clean freaks.

I have mixed feelings about this move. On one hand, it will be kind of nice to have my dad there to cook and pay the bills for me, and to not be home alone all the time. But on the other hand, I do enjoy this feeling of independence, and I'm gonna miss my roommate like craaaaaazy.

I am for sure not going to miss our landlord though. That WANG. Thank goodness we don't have to see him between now and the day we move out. He called me yesterday and told us to just "put the keys in the kitchen drawer." You'd think he would want to see the place before we move out. Apparently not. I'm okay with that. Moving on.

My new place is HUGE. It's got three bedrooms and three bathrooms. I am so excited. My dad, my sister, and I could all be in the bathroom at the same time. Don't ask me why I am fascinated with that idea. Perhaps it's because we once shared ONE bathroom, and it didn't work out. Then our last place had two bathrooms, but my dad's was practically off-limits. Sharing with my sister is a NIGHTMARE. It's like living with an animal. You have to disinfect everything after she's been in there. She better keep it clean this time. I WILL BRING THE HAMMER DOWN.

Side note, something keeps making a loud, scary noise in the kitchen. I don't know what it is. It sounds like one of those rubber popping toys, but 10 times bigger.

Well, laundry's done. Guess it's time to actually go do something with my day. To whoever reads this, bye for now...!

P.s. I REEEEEEEEALLY wish I could pack my cat :(
